Photographic Hints

Custom pet drawings are an incredible way to preserve a moment in time. Capturing the character of your furry friends!
I have put together a quick guide to help you in choosing the perfect reference photo.
A detailed and clear image is essential for me to create a pencil pet portrait that you will  love!

Basic Points

Get down to their level
Use natural light
Capture their essence
Take several shots
A 3/4 pose is good

Photos on a mobile

Refrain from using the digital zoom. "Pinching out" to enlarge the subject before shooting the picture really lowers the quality.

Use Natural Light

Natural light is your best friend when  taking photographs.

However if you can't get outside try to photograph your pet near a window.

In Conclusion

Whatever the subject is just remember if you can zoom into the eys without pixelation, the photo is likely to be of a suitable quality.

Camera Settings

Use a fast shutter speed to freeze your pet’s movements and capture sharp images.

Simple Background

When photographing your pet, you want them to be the focus of the image. Choose a simple background that won’t distract from your pet. A plain wall, grassy field, or a blanket can all work well.

Pet photography can be challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding.

By following these tips and practicing patience, you can capture beautiful images of your beloved furry friend that you can cherish forever.
